All year is a great time in the Wichita Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Not far from Comanche Lake, you'll locate Grama Lake which is a beautiful lake, and the Rabbit Hills is one of the things that make Comanche Lake       so good. From a rain point of view Comanche Lake is a reasonably normal site; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. You can run the rapids of Jimmy Creek near Comanche Lake; you can take a little tour to Comanche Lake Dam while you're here at Comanche Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The good people of Lawton like to hang out nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the                  exciting stuff in the Wichita Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Deer Creek is a stream you can stop at while here; you can stay the night at Letra Campground and Picnic Area. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Gramma Lake is close by; Antelope Flat is a beautiful site any time of year. Comanche Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wichita Mountains. All through the warmest time of the year at Comanche Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Comanche Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Yeah, come here to Comanche Lake for a good time.
