Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cobb Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cobb Lake; Rattan Trail is a perfect local trail, and getting to Buck Creek from Cobb Lake is simple. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.       You'll find a pretty lake called Krebs Lake near Cobb Lake, and Cobb Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Rebel Hill Guest Ranch is a perfect local campground. Good hiking is available along the Gunsmoke Trail. There's so much to do here at Cobb Lake that you need to camp here for a while, K River Campground is a great spot for that. All the outdoors cool stuff right next door to Cobb Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a site                  to stay Super 8 Kiowa is a good choice. Cobb Lake is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ouachita Mountains.
