Go to City Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. City Lake is a beautiful lake in the Arbuckle Mountains. While you're here at City Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Ardmore; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Murray State Park is a wonderful place to camp. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at City Lake. A splendid close by hotel is La Quinta Inn Ardomore, and a scenic lake like City Lake is a good spot to visit.

| | Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Noble Lake next to City Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and why not camp at Shady Cove RV Park since you're here at City Lake. That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Arbuckle Mountains has it all. SUPER 8 MOTEL - ARDMORE is a delightful location | |

This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the long summer days at City Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the
70's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 30's for City Lake. Be careful coming to the Arbuckle Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Chickasaw National Recreation
Area is one of the destinations near City Lake that are pleasant to go to, and while you're here you can play some golf at Lakeview Golf Course.
You can take a little visit to City Lake Dam if you're here at City Lake; Washita River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by.

I've been here several times. There are lots of pretty spots for photos. You can hike down to the creek and cool off and there are lots of deer in the area. The entire trail is not too long and its a nice way to spend an afternoon.... |
