Soar down the rapids of Washita River in a kayak, and a charming lake like City Lake is a brilliant place to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lake Murray State Park, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - ARDMORE is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Shady Cove RV Park is a nice campground nearby; there are plenty of people from Ardmore here.       Throughout the months of summer highs here at City Lake get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at City Lake are in the 30's. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the Arbuckle Mountains. If you haven’t been to Chickasaw National Recreation Area, you should schedule some time for it if you're here; City Lake is right by the Cliffside Trail. The yearly                  rainfall here at City Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At City Lake Dam in the neighborhood of City Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lakeview Golf Course is close at hand. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Arbuckle Mountains, too brilliant to be true. A great nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn Ardmore; you'll discover a delightful lake called Noble Lake.
