The beauty of Chickasaw Lake attracts many people from all around. Chickasaw Lake is located in the Arbuckle Mountains. You're sure to run into some friendly people from Ardmore here; if you haven’t been to Chickasaw National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Candlewood Suites ARDMORE is a brilliant place to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Washita River.

| | Cove RV Park is a great campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cliffside Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Chickasaw Lake. Not far from Chickasaw Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Chickasaw Lake Dam, and in the vicinity of Chickasaw Lake you stumble on a golf course called Lakeview Golf Course. And that's not all there is to do here in the Arbuckle Mountains. So much entertaining stuff in the Arbuckle Mountains, just impressive. If you need a location to
stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Ardmore is a glorious choice; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Murray State Park is a glorious place to camp. Summertime highs at Chickasaw Lake typically tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is
down it dips down to the 70's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 50's, and overnight lows at Chickasaw Lake throughout the winter regularly dip into the 30's.
