This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Lakeview Golf Course is always a pleasure, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Mckown Lake is one of those nearby. Good hiking is available along the Cliffside Trail; this is a popular location for people from Ardmore. Summertime at Chickasaw Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and through the night it cools       down to the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and overnight lows at Chickasaw Lake through the winter regularly sink into the 30's. Chickasaw Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Chickasaw Lake Dam is not far at all from Chickasaw Lake. Lakes are magnificent; Carter 1 Reservoir is a lake that's close to Chickasaw Lake. You imagine that's                  enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a location to stay Candlewood Suites ARDMORE is a fine choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Murray State Park is a good place to camp. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Arbuckle Mountains is great! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Washita River, and Shady Cove RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Arbuckle Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites Ardmore is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and of course, all our national parks are perfect locations to explore and Chickasaw National Recreation Area is no exception.
