If you are in Le Flore county it's always a good idea to stop by Cedar Lake. Summertime highs at Cedar Lake usually tend to be in the 90's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cedar Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Cedar Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a great deal of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is when it's the driest. little visit to Crooked Branch. This lake is so wonderful. A day at beautiful Cedar Lake North Shore close to Cedar Lake is a perfect thing to do; you can go for a hike on the Boardstand Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a
day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Cedar Lake. Best Western Traders Inn is a great location to get some rest. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn, and don't leave Cedar Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Eagle
Trail. All year is a good time in the Ouachita Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Post Mountain is easy to spot from Cedar Lake, and Horse Thief Spring Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Time
spent at Cedar Lake South Shore in the vicinity of Cedar Lake is always great, and why not camp at Big Cedar RV Park and Cabins while you're here at Cedar Lake. Nearby Lundy Divide is a great spot to go if you're at Cedar Lake, and
if you come at the right time of year, Kiamichi River offers some good whitewater. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cedar Lake. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at Cedar Lake Dam near Cedar Lake; there are wonderful sites to explore along the Billy Creek Trail.
