Through the summer months at Casteel Lake highs are mostly in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows through the wintertime for Casteel Lake tend to be in the 20's. Casteel Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mobile Traveler RV Park is a perfect local campground; a lake close by is Conditt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Casteel       Lake Dam is a gorgeous place in the vicinity of Casteel Lake; a great close by hotel is Microtel Inn and Suites Durant. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Casteel Lake, too tremendous to be true. Camping at Coy Simmons RV Park is always a tremendous experience. Casteel Lake gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls all through May while January is mostly the driest month. Here at Casteel Lake there are plenty of people from Durant; if you need a                  place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DURANT is a tremendous choice.
