Caddo Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Wichita Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jimmy Creek, and camping at Letra Campground and Picnic Area is always a brilliant experience. Caddo Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest.
