There's so much to do here at Byhannon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horse Thief Spring Campground is a wonderful site for that, and Bohannon Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling close to Byhannon Lake is Little River, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Turney Ranch Trail. Big Eagle Creek - Eagle Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot near Byhannon Lake; there's always Bohannon Lake Dam to check out near Byhannon Lake.
