I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Byhannon Lake. Days Inn is a pleasant location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Byhannon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Horse Thief Spring Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling near Byhannon Lake is Big Eagle Creek - Eagle Fork; you can catch a glimpse of Chancellor Mountain from Byhannon       Lake. All year is a fine time in the Ouachita Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Bohannon Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and going for a hike on the Boardstand Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Through the summer at Byhannon Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Byhannon Lake. You can run the rapids of Little                  River in the vicinity of Byhannon Lake; don't leave Byhannon Lake without first going for a hike along the Turney Ranch Trail. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Ouachita Mountains.
