This lake is so wonderful. Near Burford Lake you find great spots like Dog Run Hollow. The scenery at Burford Lake Dam in close proximity to Burford Lake is lovely, and if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Lawton is a delightful choice. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wichita Mountains. Fish Lakes is a tremendous lake near Burford Lake; Burford Lake is great       enough to spend more than a day at, Letra Campground and Picnic Area is a great local campground. Eagle Mountain is scenic and can be observed from Burford Lake, and a quick visit to Cow Creek is definitely a good idea. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Burford Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Burford Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
