Not far from Brown Lake you get some great water scenery at Brown Lake Dam, and this is a popular place for people from McAlester. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. After       a long day outdoors Best Western Inn Of Mcalester is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Brown Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Super 8 Motel and RV Park is a splendid place for that.
