Many people like to go to Broken Bow Lake. A splendid location for whitewater paddling near Broken Bow Lake is Outlaw Creek; a wonderful close by hotel is Quality Inn Idabel. Have a great hiking adventure along the Beaver Lodge Nature Trail; there are other sites here than Broken Bow Lake, for example Broken Bow City Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Broken Bow Lake is Lake Pine Retreat Campground, and let's not forget Long Branch

This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Broken Bow Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months
in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Summertime highs at Broken Bow Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Broken Bow Lake.
