     Oklahoma has many beautiful lakes and Broken Bow Lake is one of them. Broken Bow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Outlaw Creek in a kayak, and Broken Bow Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Lake Pine Retreat Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Idabel is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and  
   hit Mountain Fork.
There is a delightful hiking trail near Broken Bow Lake called the Beaver Lodge Nature Trail, and Hochatown State Park is a magnificent campground nearby. Just can't get enough of Broken Bow Lake. Microtel Inn Broken Bow is a splendid spot to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Broken Bow Lake a reasonably wet spot; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture.
 
               But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Broken Bow City Lake Dam near Broken Bow Lake, and it's a wonderful idea to go to Long Branch. Summertime at Broken Bow Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Broken Bow Lake temperatures dip to the 30's.
