Bohannon Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. And if that's not enough there's loads more fun stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Why not camp at Billy Creek Campground while you're here at Bohannon Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Eagle Creek - Eagle Fork. The high level of rain makes Bohannon Lake a reasonably wet spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least

| | moisture. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Ouachita Mountains.
This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. After a long day outdoors Days Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bohannon Lake; Boardstand Trail is a great local trail. here at Bohannon Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's while Bohannon Lake night low temperatures throughout
the winter are in the 20's.
There's always Bohannon Lake Dam to take a look at near Bohannon Lake; get wet paddling on Little River. If you came for an overnight stay Horse Thief Spring Campground is a delightful spot to camp,
and why not take a refreshing hike along the Honobia Trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of the principal traits of the surroundings of Bohannon Lake is Chancellor Mountain; do take a hike on the Turney Ranch Trail.
