This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Baptist Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Ardmore is a good location to spend a night or two; Turner Falls Park is a fine local campground. Washita River is a nice whitewater spot near Baptist Lake. Lakes? Sure, Amos Construction Company Reservoir       is in close proximity. All through the months of summer highs here at Baptist Lake reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Baptist Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Chickasaw National Recreation Area is recommended, and some of the water close by flows, like Dry Sandy Creek. Not far from Baptist Lake, you'll find Hagee                  Gss Number 1 Reservoir which is a scenic lake; there are plenty of people from Ardmore here. Good hiking is available along the Cliffside Trail; Baptist Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Canyon Breeze Motel and RV Park is a perfect spot to camp nearby.
