This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Traders Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and why not take a little visit to Horse Creek while you're here. Do visit Fourche Maline Creek Site 11 Reservoir close to Austin Lake, it's a wonderful lake; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the K Trail. Austin Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the month that gets the most       rain while January is usually the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Austin Lake, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 50's while Austin Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. So many cool things to do here in the Ouachita Mountains, too perfect                  to be true.
