Brandywine has great slopes and a friendly staff; you'll come across a beautiful lake called Black Pond. Wolf Creek Dam is pretty and it's in close proximity to Yellow Pond, and a great beach nearby is Turkeyfoot Beach. What a place this is for outdoors       folks. There are plenty of people from Akron here at Yellow Pond, and obviously, all our national parks are fine spots to go to and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Yellow Pond. If you need a place to stay Hilton Akron/Fairlawn is a good choice, and Wintergreen Ledges is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Yellow Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the                  wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a look at nearby Copley Swamp, and do explore Barberton Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake. After a long day outdoors Oakwood at Park Hill at Fairlawn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and Cuyahoga River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Boston Mills in the vicinity, and camping is available at Camelot Camping Grounds. An afternoon playing golf at Loyal Oak Golf Course Golf Cpourse is always a pleasure, and you can run the rapids of Yellow Creek. For the duration of the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Yellow Pond, and the night is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
