Wuerdeman Lakes is next to Glen Ridge Lake Dam which is a charming site beyond doubt worth stopping at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wuerdeman Lakes; Southwoods Trail is a good local trail. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Wuerdeman Lakes. There's so much to do here at Wuerdeman Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Clear Water Air Park is a magnificent place for that; Legendary Run Golf Course is a glorious golf

| | course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hampton Inn CincinnatiEastgate is a fine place to get some rest, and you'll discover a lovely lake called Glen Willow Lake. Glide down the rapids of Backbone Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Cincinnati Eastgate. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Wuerdeman Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Miami Trails Hoa, and don't leave Wuerdeman Lakes without first going | |

for a hike along the Beechtree Trail. Summertime highs at Wuerdeman Lakes usually tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime
lows in the 20's for Wuerdeman Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Horner Run, and there's brilliant hiking along the Lakeview Trail. While you're here at Wuerdeman Lakes, you could also stop at
striking Jackson Lake, and there are plenty of people from Cincinnati-Middletown here. Wuerdeman Lakes gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Horner Run
 | Horner is a great run with 3 major drops from 6 feet to 10-11 feet, the only problem is the take out. First you could carry the mile and a half out a trail on river left, or go under interstate 275 through a 100 yard long tunnel scout the tunnel first for strainers, third you could walk several hundred yards up to 275 and get out on the interstate shoulder. With all this in mind you might as well say forget Horner and head for Halls creek or Hershel run. Both have way easier put-in's and take out's... |
