But the best time was when my brother and a couple of buds rent boats, and caught so many bluegill and bass. There were falling off our stringers. What a great park. Hope it stays that way. An average amount of precipitation falls at Wingfoot Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain; January on the other hand       is the driest. This lake is a wonderful place to visit. Brandywine has good slopes and a friendly staff. The surroundings of this lake have so much to offer. All our national parks are splendid sites to stop at, and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception, and if you came for an overnight stay Clear Water Park Camping Resort is a good location to camp. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Wingfoot Lake. You'll find                  a scenic lake called Mogadore Reservoir near Wingfoot Lake, and pleasant water scenery is available at Wingfoot Lake Dam in close proximity to Wingfoot Lake. Drift down the rapids of Cuyahoga River in a kayak, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Akron here. Summertime highs at Wingfoot Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Wingfoot Lake dip into the 10's.
