A visit to Winchester Lake is always a good idea. Have a great hiking adventure along the Deer Loop Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Seaman is a splendid location to spend a night or two. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Camping at Winchester Lake is good fun, Woodland Lake Campground is a good local campground; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Straight Creek. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Take a hike on the Paw Paw Trail, and why not go to close by Turkey Run if you're here at Winchester Lake.
Winchester Lake is a good site of typical rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. All through the summertime, highs typically are in the 80's at Winchester Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; | |
