This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Hillsboro is a magnificent choice. Why not pop by nearby Turkey Run if you're here at Winchester Lake; a lake close by is Dodge Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Winchester Lake.       Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Winchester Lake are in the 10's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Winchester Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodland Lake Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Deer Loop Trail. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Winchester Lake; May is when you get the most rain                  here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Winchester Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Seaman; get drenched paddling on Big Three Mile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Straight Creek; Winchester Lake is not the only site nearby, Russellville Watersupply Reservoir is a nearby lake.
