This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Lake Placid Dam near Wildwood Lake is stunning; on a good day you can take a hike along the Dogwood Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Beaver Creek, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lake Front Golf Course & Restaurant. This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Calvins Marsh Reservoir       in the vicinity of Wildwood Lake is a great place to pop by; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman). During the long summer days at Wildwood Lake highs are typically in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Wildwood Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. If                  the weather is glorious here at Wildwood Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail; Wildwood Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Terrace Lakes Campground is a great local campground. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Little Beaver Creek, and Quality Inn & Suites is a great spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Wildwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Valley Camp Ground is a good location for that; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Vondergreen Trail. But wait, there's more to do next to Wildwood Lake. Turkey Creek flows through this neighborhood, and the cheerful people of East Liverpool-Salem like to hang out nearby.
