Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Widgeon Pond with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Widgeon Pond are in the 10's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Widgeon Pond. Holiday Inn Express Toledo-Oregon, Oh is a glorious site to get some rest; if you want to hit the beach, Lamb       Beach is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Point is in the vicinity and always delightful to go to, and Erie Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type of mood. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Luna Pier/Monroe/Toledo Area is a splendid choice; there are swamps here too, Cedar Point Marsh is nearby. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Portage River, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because                  Chippewa Golf Club & is in close proximity. Widgeon Pond is not the only place nearby, Pintail Pond is a nearby lake; camping is available at Sunny South Villa. Camping at Harbortown Rv Resort is always a great experience, needless to say you could also have a look at Outlet Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Toledo here.
