If you like lakes and you're in this part of Ohio you can check out White Pond. The snow is magnificent at Snow Trails, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Staples Pond. If you need a place to stay Best Western Norwalk is a tremendous choice, and a scenic lake like New London Upground Reservoir is a splendid site to take a look at. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at White Pond. Indian Trail Campground is a great campground

| | nearby, and people from Norwalk love to come here. Through the warm months highs here at White Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for White Pond. The yearly rainfall here at White Pond is about average; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Freedom Valley Park and Campground is a glorious local campground. | |

Very good water scenery is available at White Pond Dam near White Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Vermilion River offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Norwalk is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and it's a glorious idea to explore Indian Creek.

Our marina is open to the public for launching boats for fishing on the scenic Huron River. There is also public fishing available. We also have marina and dock space available, if you would like to keep your boat here.
Need help getting to the river to do your fishing? We now have Talwater Charters here in our campgrounds. After a long day on the river, a shower sounds really good. We have a full service bathhouse.
Where are we?? We are located at 9019 River Road, in Huron, Ohio. If you are coming from Ohio State Route 6, turn south on River Road, and we are a short drive (3 miles) down River Road. To reach us from State Route 2, exit at Berlin Road, turn south, go 3/4 of a mile, then, at Knight Road, turn right, follow it to the ''dead end'' at River Road, turn left, and we will be on the right side, about 100 feet south.
