Go to Walden Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The Mohawk Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Walden Lake, and camping at Geauga Lake Campground is always a great experience. Walden Lake really is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Walden is a great site to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? | | reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Walden Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Cuyahoga River, and a lake nearby is Geauga Lake. Colebrook Lake Dam is stunning and it's close to Walden Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Mushers Trail. All | |

our national parks are pleasant places to take a look at, and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception, and an afternoon playing golf at Grantwood Golf Course is always a delight.

Brook is near Walden Lake and is always a diversion to explore, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Iroquois Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Walden Lake
has to offer. Walden Lake is a place with many visitors from Akron. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chagrin River - Aurora Branch, and a tremendous place to camp here at Walden Lake is Mar-lynn Lake Park.
If you need a place
to stay Bertram Inn & Conference Center is a wonderful choice, and the slopes of Alpine Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Walden Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is January.
