There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Walden Lake. A lake nearby is Colebrook Lake, and the snow is wonderful at Brandywine. The annual rain here at Walden Lake is about average; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Walden Lake called the Mushers Trail, and there's       whitewater on Chagrin River - Aurora Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Walden Lake is not the only site close by, Aurora Pond is a close by lake, and Grantwood Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Any time is a great time at Walden Lake if you go for the outdoors. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpine Valley; needless to say Pond Brook is a picturesque stream that is worth visiting. Through the long summer days here                  at Walden Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Walden Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Bertram Inn & Conference Center is a tremendous choice, and you can run the rapids of Cuyahoga River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Geauga Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and going for a hike on the Iroquois Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Colebrook Lake Dam has glorious water scenery and it's close to Walden Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Walden. All our national parks are nice spots to stop at, and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception, and Mar-lynn Lake Park is a nice local campground.
