Throughout the summer at Valley Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Valley Lake tend to be in the 10's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Valley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Canton/East Sparta KOA, and dry warm beds await you at Canton Inn. This lake       is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Canton-Massillon come to Valley Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Skyland Pines Golf Course is in close proximity. From a rain point of view Valley Lake is a pretty common site; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Charles Mill Lake in the neighborhood of Valley Lake, and after a long day outdoors The McKinley                  Grand Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cuyahoga River, and you can stay the night at Bear Creek Koa Kampground.
