It's always fun to stop by University Pond. Going for a hike on the Lake Shore Trail is always a great adventure, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Falcon Plaza is a magnificent choice. You're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Toledo here, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Bowling Green Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at University Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pleasant View

A typical amount of rain falls here at University Pond; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. Peregrine Pond is a great lake in the vicinity of University Pond; Saint Johns Woods is a nice forest area nearby. High temperatures at University Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night | |

it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at University Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
Paddling on Maumee River is so much fun. Man, is there plenty
of cool things to do close to University Pond. Stay the night at Firelake Camper Park, and a delightful close by hotel is Knights Inn Bowling Green.
