There's so much to do here at Twin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ashland/Huntington West KOA is a good place for that; get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Mud River. During the months of summer highs here at Twin Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime       temperatures at Twin Lake fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Pullman Plaza Hotel. Lakes are delightful; Sky Lake is a lake that's right next door to Twin Lake. Fitch Hollow is a magnificent site to check out next to Twin Lake, and hey, Mounts Branch is a wonderful local stream. The amount of rainfall that falls at Twin Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile                  is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Huntington, Wv is a delightful location to get some rest, and Twin Lake is right by the Natural Gorge Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Twin Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Twin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beech Fork State Park; not far from Twin Lake you'll locate Lake Forest which is a striking lake.
