If you are traveling by, why not stop by Twin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Deer Hollow Trail, and if you came to camp Beech Fork State Park is a fine spot to do that. Lots of folks from Huntington-Ashland come to Twin Lake; obviously, A spree to Fitch Hollow is always fun. Don't leave Twin Lake without first going for a hike along the Natural Gorge Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Mud River offers some perfect whitewater. After a long day outdoors Pullman Plaza Hotel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Huntington, Wv is a great choice. are commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Twin Lake.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Twin Lake has to offer.
Mounts Branch is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and you're probably keen on lakes, Sky Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rainfall that falls at Twin Lake is close to the national
average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
