Lots of people from Huntington-Ashland come to Timbre Ridge Lake, and Timbre Ridge Lake Dam is not far at all from Timbre Ridge Lake. The Deer Hollow Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not pop by close by Turkey Creek while you're here at Timbre Ridge Lake. Camping at Beech Fork State Park is always a great experience, obviously you could also visit Timber Ridge Lake since you're here;       it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mud River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Timbre Ridge Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. A good location to camp here at Timbre Ridge Lake is Ashton Riverview Campground, and since you're here why not have a look at Meyers Hollow.                  During the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Timbre Ridge Lake.
