There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Timber Lake called                  the Hawthorn Loop Trail, and a glorious close by hotel is Columbus/Grove City Knights Inn. There's so much to do here at Timber Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek Camping Resort is a glorious site for that, and an afternoon playing golf at Split Rock Golf Club is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful.
