Timber Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Columbus here. All through the summertime highs here at Timber Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and winter nights       come with lows in the 10's to Timber Lake. Timber Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Deer Creek Camping Resort is a fine site to camp nearby, and Cross Country Inn Columbus West/Hilliard is a delightful site to get some rest. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Timber Lake. Alton RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby, and why not a little side spree to Gay Run. Go for a hike on the Sugar Maple                  Hiking Trail; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Scioto River. A beautiful lake like Clark Lakes Pond One near Timber Lake is a great place to explore, and going for a hike on the Hawthorn Loop Trail is always a pleasant adventure. You don’t have to go far from Timber Lake to see the water at Timber Lake Dam, and if you need a place to stay Columbus/Grove City Knights Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.
