If you came to camp Tree Haven Camp Grounds is a splendid location to do that; people from Columbus love to come here. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Thoreau Pond. There's so much to do here at Thoreau Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Vision       is a glorious spot for that, and needless to say, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, City of Columbus Sludge Pond is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Thoreau Pond you obtain some wonderful water scenery at Thoreau Pond Dam. Through the warm days of summer at Thoreau Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Thoreau                  Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
