Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Taylorsville Reservoir. Near Taylorsville Reservoir you locate a golf course called Cassel Hills       Golf Course, and unsurprisingly Poplar Creek flows through this vicinity. While you're here at Taylorsville Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Dayton, and not far from Taylorsville Reservoir you'll come across Owen Pond which is a lovely lake. Taylorsville Reservoir gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is                  so wonderful. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Taylorsville Dam close to Taylorsville Reservoir; do take a hike on the Ghost Hedge Nature Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mad River, and why not camp at Memorial Holiness Campground since you're here at Taylorsville Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Poor Farmer's RV Sales - Service and Camping is a brilliant local campground; there are other spots here than Taylorsville Reservoir, for example Hart Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Taylorsville Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
