The Blue Heron Hiking Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Tanglewood Lake, and in case you don’t have       a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Great Miami River. Not far from Tanglewood Lake, you'll discover Lake Gloria which is a lovely lake, and Hamiltonian Hotel is a great location to get some rest. Tanglewood Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Cross's Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground, and the skiing at Perfect North is nice. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the West Shore                  Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Lakes are brilliant; Two Mile Reservoir is a lake that's near Tanglewood Lake. High temperatures at Tanglewood Lake all through the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Tanglewood Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. There's so much to do here at Tanglewood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hamilton County Park District is a brilliant location for that.
