If you need a location to stay Courtyard Hamilton is a good choice; don't leave Tanglewood Lake without first going for a hike along the Mud Lick Hiking Trails. You don’t have to go far from Tanglewood Lake to see the water at Tanglewood Lake Dam, and there are brilliant places to look at       along the West Shore Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tanglewood Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Tanglewood Lake descend into the 10's. You could also stop at Lake Gloria since you're here at Tanglewood Lake; it's nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Tanglewood Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Cross's                  Campgrounds is a good spot to camp, and Perfect North is a glorious local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Hamilton County Park District, and tremendous hiking is available along the Blue Heron Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tanglewood Lake is not the only spot close by, Two Mile Reservoir is a close by lake; don't forget to take a good little tour to Pleasant Run. Tanglewood Lake is a good location of common precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January.
