Tait Station Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Miller's Gun Club and Camp Grnds, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tait Station Reservoir; Heron Run Trail is a glorious local trail. High temperatures at Tait Station Reservoir throughout the summer months are in the 80's; the overnight is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Station Dam since you're here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Caesar Creek; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge South is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
