There's so much to do here at Taber Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shadow Lake Resort is a perfect spot for that; a lake nearby is Barnesville Reservoir. Taber Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Barkcamp State Park is a brilliant local campground, and St. Clairsville/Wheeling Oh is a good location to get some rest. Taber Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; during the month       of July you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Taber Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while Taber Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
