Custom Search     Swift Run Lake     Comfort Inn Miami Valley Centre Mall is a fine place to get some rest, and everybody likes a splendid game of mini golf at Putterslane. Echo Hills Municipal Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by; if you've had enough of Swift Run Lake, Pauls Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Go ahead and take the young ones to Silver Lake Beach CO during your stay at Swift Run Lake. You could also stop at Lake Loramie if you're here at Swift Run Lake; it's     close by. In case you want to take a ride on a horse Five Rivers Metroparks is close at hand. Camping is available at Hickory Hill Lakes; it's a good idea to check out Patterson Run.   Swift Run lake is one of 3 lakes in the city of Piqua water system. It is an excellent fishing lake, best fished with a small aluminum boat or canoe. The lake has an electric motor only restriction. Bank fishing is allowed in designated spots only. The lake has good populations of panfish and catfish, although the panfish tend to run small. There are some large crappies & bluegills, but you will have to catch 50 or 60 to get 15 of keeper size. Best bet for panfish is April and May. Bass fishing in this system is excellent. Good numbers of quality fish are caught from mid April until November.
