than a day at, Stonelick Lake State Park is a good local campground; there are tremendous places to discover along the Southwoods Trail.
If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on
Hershel Run, and nearby you stumble on the Beechtree Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Take a little trip to Back Run if you're here at Sunset Lake, and going for a hike on the Lakeview Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
During the long summer days highs here at Sunset Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sunset Lake dip into the 10's.
