Horner Run
 | Horner is a great run with 3 major drops from 6 feet to 10-11 feet, the only problem is the take out. First you could carry the mile and a half out a trail on river left, or go under interstate 275 through a 100 yard long tunnel scout the tunnel first for strainers, third you could walk several hundred yards up to 275 and get out on the interstate shoulder. With all this in mind you might as well say forget Horner and head for Halls creek or Hershel run. Both have way easier put-in's and take out's... |

Olive Branch Campground
 | 16 miles away Wow! This is by far the cleanest and most family friendly campground I have ever been to. There was ONE bug in the bathroom. The showers were obviously cleaned more than once a day. There are short trails to hike on site. There is also a camp store that is well stocked and reaswonably priced. One other major attraction is that it is less than a mile from Interstate 71 and only three exits from King's Island. There are tons of other fun activities close by such as canoeing, horseback riding and SHOPPING. Kudos to the owners on running a wonderful campground. ... |
