Near Stump Lake you hit upon the Beach Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Burton Lake. All through the months of summer highs here at Stump Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Stump Lake. The annual rain here       at Stump Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. After a long day outdoors Renaissance Quail Hollow Resort is a good place to spend a night or two, and Windrush Hollow Camp is a tremendous campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Stump Lake is a splendid spot to camp, Hosmer Lake is a splendid spot. What would winter be without some skiing at Alpine Valley, and whitewater paddling                  is nice on Kellogg Creek. Yeah, come here to Stump Lake for a tremendous time. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Creek, and Wicked Woods Golf Club is a pleasant golf course close by. Going for a hike on the Iroquois Trail is always a great adventure; dry warm beds await you at Aurora Inn Of Mario S International. This lake is so wonderful.
