Switzerland of Ohio Country Club is a splendid golf course close by; Stires Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Shadow Lake Resort is a pleasant local campground. High temperatures at Stires Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
