An exciting thing to stop by next to Staples Pond is Staples Pond Dam. There's so much to do here at Staples Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Trail Campground is a glorious place for that. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Snow Trails is near Staples Pond. This place is excellent, just look at all the fun stuff to do near Staples Pond. A glorious nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Norwalk, and you'll meet a lot       of folks from Norwalk here. Summertime highs at Staples Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is quite chillier of course, typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Staples Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
