This lake is so wonderful. Brandywine is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and a great place to camp here at Springfield Lake is Countryside Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Boston Mills, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Executive Inn Of Akron is a wonderful choice. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun.       For you golfers we recommend close by Edwin Shaw Challenge Golf Course, and a great nearby hotel is Cambria Suites Airport. From a rain point of view Springfield Lake is a pretty common location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is generally the driest month.
