Many people like to go to Spring Valley Lake. High temperatures at Spring Valley Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. | | Inn & Suites Airport is a pleasant choice. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. A round of golf at nearby O'Shanter Golf Course Tom is a great way to kill some time, and a lake nearby is Meyers Lake.
There's so much to do here at Spring Valley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Canton/East Sparta KOA is a wonderful place for that, and folks from Canton-Massillon love to come here. Paddling on Cuyahoga River is so much fun; if you came to camp | |

The annual precipitation here at Spring Valley Lake is about average; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Quality Inn

Atwood Lake, situated in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties, is one of the state's top sailing and boating attractions. Managed by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, the lake was constructed in the 1930s for flood reduction and water conservation, but has turned into an outdoor recreational paradise. Boating, fishing, camping, hiking, biking, hunting, swimming and more are among the reasons visitors make their way to Atwood Lake each year. A 600-site campgrounds at Atwood Lake Park accommodates visitors for a weekend, a week, month or more. The park also is home to a full schedule of activities and events each year from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Two full-service marinas are located on the lake to serve visitors and guests. Reservations can be made by e-mail at atwood@mwcdlakes.com. (The MWCD also owns Atwood Lake Resort and Conference Center, a 104-room full-service resort with a golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts and even 17 four-bedroom cottages located right beside the lake).
