It's always fun to stop by Spring Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Beach Trail; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn. There's so much to do here at Spring Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Heritage Hills Campgrounds is a fine location for that, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grand River. | | wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Whitewater paddling is nice on Paine Creek. Any time is a perfect time at Spring Pond if you adore the outdoors. Golf can be played at Hidden Valley Golf Course; there's great hiking along the Iroquois Trail. at Spring Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Don't leave Spring Pond without first going for a hike along the Erie Trail, and if you need a location to stay Renaissance Quail Hollow Resort is a perfect choice.
If you came to camp Stoney Glen Camp is a delightful location to do that, and wonderful scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Alpine Valley.
