Swift Run Lake
 | 19 miles away 1 PHOTO Swift Run lake is one of 3 lakes in the city of Piqua water system. It is an excellent fishing lake, best fished with a small aluminum boat or canoe. The lake has an electric motor only restriction. Bank fishing is allowed in designated spots only. The lake has good populations of panfish and catfish, although the panfish tend to run small. There are some large crappies & bluegills, but you will have to catch 50 or 60 to get 15 of keeper size. Best bet for panfish is April and May. Bass fishing in this system is excellent. Good numbers of quality fish are caught from mid April until November. Thelakes have largemouth's up to 8 pounds, with numbers of fish in the 2 to 3 pound range.... |
