Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Spring Lake. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Windrush Hollow Camp is a good place for that, and why not stop at East Branch Reservoir Dam if you're here. This lake is       so wonderful. There are other spots here than Spring Lake, for example East Branch Reservoir; great skiing awaits you at Alpine Valley. Through the long summer days highs here at Spring Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Spring Lake sink into the 10's. From a precipitation point of view Spring Lake is                  a reasonably normal spot; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are some great whitewater spots on Big Creek; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Beach Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Quail Hollow Resort is a glorious location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Paine Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Windrush Hollow Camp, and Sperry Pond is a brilliant lake close by.
