From a rainfall point of view Spencer Lake is a quite typical location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not go to Spencer Reservoir near Spencer Lake, and you can run the rapids of Rocky River - West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors       Oberlin Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; a pretty lake like Sherwood Forrest Camp Grounds Pond is a nice spot to go to. Getting to Coon Creek from Spencer Lake is trouble-free, and folks from Ashland love to come here. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Rocky River - North Branch, and Super 8 Motel - Seville is a great place to get some rest. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Spencer Lake. During the summer months here at Spencer Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Spencer Lake.
