Smiths Pond is right by the Wetlands Trail, and a delightful place to stop at close by is Ballast Reef. Fox's Den Campground is a wonderful local campground, and you don’t have to go far from Smiths Pond to catch a sight of the water at Lonz Marine Harbor. Take a hike on the Blackberry Trail, and why not camp at St. Hazards Campground if you're here at Smiths Pond. This lake is so       wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Put-in-Bay Resort And Conference Center; the West Harbor Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Smiths Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Smiths Pond throughout the wintertime usually plunge into the 10's. Yeah, come here to Smiths Pond for a splendid time.                  Manila Bay is next to Smiths Pond and is a delightful location to go to, of course you could also stop at Fischers Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.
