The amount of rain that falls at Slyman Lake is close to the national average; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Fork of Mohican, and if you need a location to stay Ashland Super 8 is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Snow Trails is just what you need, and there are plenty of folks from Ashland here at Slyman Lake. Vermilion River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and while you're here you can play some golf at Eagle Crest Golf Course.
