Lake Placentia
 | The lake was filling up with sediment and was going to turn into a swamp. They drained it and are letting it dry out so they can dredge it out and then refill it. It will take several years to do this....What happened to Lake Plancentia? Two years ago it was there and now it's empty with everyone's docks high and dry. Does anyone know what happened?... |

Smith Pond
 | 17 miles away I caught a big Channel cat on some doughball here. 'Tis a family secret. But I'll tell you anyway. You take one part water to 2 parts corn meal and then thicken or thin as needed. Then add some vanilla for extra flavor. Very good for catfish as well as carp.... |
