You'll need more than a day to look at everything Simms Pond has to offer, you can camp at Caesar Creek Camping, and Crowne Plaza Hotel DAYTON is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Simms Pond; Beech Ridge Trail is a glorious local trail, and if you've had enough of Simms Pond, Island       Park Reservoir is close by. There's whitewater on Caesar Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. There's so much to do here at Simms Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Miller's Gun Club and Camp Grnds is a wonderful site for that. The annual rain here at Simms Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is May while January is usually the driest month. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Tait Station Reservoir is one of those nearby, and dry                  warm beds await you at Doubletree Hotel DaytonDowntown. This lake is so wonderful. Country Club of the North is a golf course close to Simms Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Dayton here at Simms Pond. There's good hiking along the Heron Run Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Simms Pond while night lows are usually in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Simms Pond. Be careful coming to Simms Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again.
