Don't miss out on a trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area since you're here at Silver Springs Lake, and folks from Akron love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Darrow Lake while       you're here at Silver Springs Lake; it's nearby, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Mushers Trail. Any time is a magnificent time at Silver Springs Lake if you love the outdoors. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Brandywine, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Cleveland-Hudson, Oh. If you came for an overnight stay Mar-lynn Lake Park is a delightful site to camp; you can go for a hike on the Iroquois Trail. This                  lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cuyahoga River, and an afternoon playing golf at Fox Den Golf Course is always a joy. If you need a location to stay Staybridge Suites AKRON-STOW-CUYAHOGA FALLS is a splendid choice, and going for a hike on the Mohawk Trail is always a delightful adventure. Silver Springs Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is typically the driest month. During the long summer days at Silver Springs Lake highs are typically in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
